Get Listed.
Whether a Clinical Exercise Physiologist or Specialist who supervices high-risk patients or a non-clinical fitness professional such as a Health Fitness Specialist or a certified personal trainer who works with otherwise healthy individuals, get listed and get found in the ACSM ProFinder.

 

Marketing Materials.
It's difficult to distinguish yourself from other fitness professionals before a consultation. Have a Web site, brochures, business cards, presentations, certification credentials and references ready for prospective clients. Chances are, they'll need more than encouraging words to make a commitment with you. Impress them slick, professional materials.  

 

Be a Resource to Media.

Now that your clients, friends and family are excited about exercise, use the media to tell the public.  Offer exercise news, motivational tops, inspiring stories and demonstrations or write a letter to the editor. The ACSM staff is available to assist.

Inspire Action. Share Your Story.
