Fall 2015 Update:

St. Mary’s University introduced Exercise is Medicine on Campus initiatives last spring hosting activities such as ball hockey, line dancing, hosting health and wellness seminars and run/walk clinics. Having EIMC events on campus aligns with our Universities Wellness Visions for students and staff & faculty.
As a Kick off to our 2015 -2016 EIMC initiatives this year, our EIMC Committee hosted a “Kickball for Kick Off” event, a self defence class and a run/walk with our cross country team to send them off to Provincials.. Continuing with our philosophy of helping our campus stay motivated and promoting physical activity we have planned a series of events over the course of the school year.  Some of our planned activities for the year to just name a few are:  An "Amazing Race-St. Mary’s Edition”, Free Fitness Testing for Students performed by Personal Trainer Students on practicum, ultimate frisbee and dodgeball.
