Support for a Global Reach and a Global Change

EIM is asking you to get involved!  Whether you are a physician, a healthcare system, a college campus, or an exercise professional, EIM has specific initiatives that will help you bring EIM to your setting.

There are four specific ways to get involved:

Healthcare Providers
As a healthcare provider, you have the ability to impact your patients in becomingmore physically active and combat the development of chronic disease and disability.  The EIM Pledge is designed to empower and assist YOU in taking specific action steps in helping your patients to more toward a healthier lifestyle.

Healthcare Systems and Community Organizations
The EIM Solution is applied by healthcare stakeholders and community organizations and resources, resulting in a “bridge of trust” to collaborate in the coordinated care for at-risk population groups to participate in interventions that slow, stop and reverse the progression of chronic diseases.

University and College Campuses
Exercise is Medicine® On Campus (EIM-OC) is a program calling upon universities and colleges to engage in the promotion of physical activity as a vital sign of health.

Exercise Professionals
EIM now includes a Credential program that will provide exercise professionals with the opportunity and skills to work closely with the medical community and will provide additional benefits for the EIM credentialed professional.

The world of healthcare and exercise is changing.  Are YOU in?
